102288 – Technical Program Manager
Summary
Our client, a leader in mobile payment systems, is hiring a senior Technical Program Manager to drive engineering and product initiatives focused on technical execution. This role owns end-to-end programs that span internal systems and third-party payment platforms, coordinating agile delivery teams to deliver iterative value to customers.
This is an opportunity to represent engineering in discovery and translate architecture and product goals into technical requirements, lead cross-organizational collaboration, and communicate progress and risk to executives and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive programs from discovery through delivery across company systems and third-party partners
- Translate discovery input into clear technical requirements with architecture, engineering, and product teams
- Align program teams and execute a communication strategy that minimizes customer and business impact
- Coordinate with external organizations to drive technical implementations and resolve integration issues
- Serve as the voice of the program to leadership and key stakeholders, escalating risks and decisions as needed
- Run and facilitate scrum ceremonies and capture team metrics to support program delivery
- Drive roadmap and capacity planning and ensure tickets are created, estimated, and updated
- Partner with engineering leads on teammate allocation, end-to-end testing, and release readiness
- Track action items, assign owners, and hold teams accountable to timelines and deliverables
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in technical program delivery
- Experience delivering technical solutions in cross-functional teams, including mobile app initiatives
- Proven skill managing risks, issues, dependencies, and end-to-end testing across programs
- Experience engaging executives and communicating program status, risks, and needs clearly and concisely
- Strong facilitation of agile processes and sprint ceremonies (standups, planning, retros, demos)
- Ability to establish, monitor, and improve key performance metrics with engineering leads
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Bias toward action, openness to feedback, and ability to provide constructive feedback
- Experience proactively identifying and surfacing timeline and dependency risks
- Hands-on experience with Jira for managing scrum team ceremonies
- Experience with Jira Align and/or Clarizen
- Familiarity with Retrium, Confluence, Trello, Miro, and Microsoft suite including Microsoft Project
