We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join our dynamic analytics team. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into intuitive, interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, and planning templates that provide clear insights and support decision-making.
- Extract, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources including relational databases and cloud platforms, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Dissect complex business problems and structure data models that enable efficient and insightful analysis.
- Implement and maintain best practices in data visualization, report development, and data platform management to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
- Work closely with technical teams, including data engineers and database administrators, to resolve data issues, optimize data flows, and integrate analytics solutions with existing systems. Provide timely and actionable insights that influence business strategies and operational improvements.
- Actively participate in the analytics community within the organization by sharing ideas, methodologies, and innovations to foster continuous improvement.
- Engage in cross-functional projects that require data expertise, contributing to the company’s broader analytics and technology initiatives.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- Power BI: Expert-level proficiency in Power BI for creating advanced reports and dashboards. Ability to design visually compelling and user-friendly data visualizations that effectively communicate complex information.
- SQL: Strong command of SQL for querying, manipulating, and managing data across various relational databases. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar platforms is essential.
- Data Visualization: Deep understanding of data visualization principles and best practices to ensure clarity, accuracy, and impact in reporting.
- Data Analysis: Proven ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and translate findings into actionable business insights.
- English: Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with global teams and present findings to diverse audiences.
