We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at CCL. Responsibilities

As a Senior Business Analyst at CCL, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements. You will use a variety of techniques including interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather comprehensive insights.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring smooth communication, managing expectations, and resolving any ambiguities or conflicts.
  • Develop and maintain detailed process models using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) and Unified Modeling Language (UML) to visualize workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements aligned with project goals.
  • Create clear, concise, and prioritized user stories that guide the development team in delivering features that meet business needs.
  • Analyze business data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decisions and optimize business processes.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the Scrum Master, Technical Lead, and QA Lead to ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
  • Support the QA team by validating test cases and participating in testing activities to ensure solutions are aligned with documented requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of business requirements, process models, user stories, and other relevant artifacts to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.
  • Continuously engage in process improvement initiatives and contribute to the evolution of business analysis practices within the organization.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills

  • Proven ability to elicit and document detailed business requirements through various techniques such as interviews, workshops, and surveys. Skilled in identifying stakeholder needs and translating them into clear, actionable specifications that guide development efforts.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, manage expectations, and facilitate consensus. Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business users, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment.
  • Expertise in creating detailed process models that accurately represent current and future state workflows. Ability to analyze and optimize business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strong proficiency in BPMN to visually document business processes, enabling clear communication of complex workflows and identification of improvement opportunities.
  • Skilled in using UML diagrams (such as use case, activity, and sequence diagrams) to represent system interactions and business processes, facilitating a shared understanding between business and technical teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience in writing well-structured user stories with clear acceptance criteria, prioritized to align with business value and development capacity. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and backlog management.
  • Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data to extract meaningful insights that support business decisions. Proficiency in using data tools and techniques to identify trends, measure performance, and recommend improvements.
  • Market Research Experience conducting market research to gather information on industry trends, customer preferences, and emerging technologies. Ability to synthesize findings into actionable strategies that enhance competitive positioning.
  • Competitive Analysis Skilled in evaluating competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, identifying market opportunities, and informing product and business strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
