Responsibilities
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements related to financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on SAP financial modules, ensuring alignment between SAP capabilities and business needs.
- Lead the design and implementation of Robotic Process Automations (RPAs) to optimize repetitive financial processes, reduce manual effort, and increase accuracy.
- Analyze complex financial data and documents, translating them into clear, actionable insights and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain detailed process maps and business process documentation to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP systems with automation tools and other financial applications.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel extensively for data analysis, modeling, and reporting to support financial planning and forecasting activities.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of automation projects.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, presenting findings, progress updates, and recommendations clearly and persuasively.
- Support change management efforts by training finance team members on new automated processes and tools.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented RPAs, identifying opportunities for further optimization.
- Stay current with industry trends in financial planning, forecasting, SAP enhancements, and automation technologies to recommend best practices.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- SAP: Proficient in SAP financial modules, with the ability to navigate, extract, and interpret financial data. Experience in configuring or supporting SAP systems related to financial planning and forecasting is essential to align automation efforts with existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) infrastructure.
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Hands-on experience or strong understanding of RPA tools and methodologies, particularly in automating finance-related processes. Ability to identify automation opportunities, define workflows, and collaborate with developers to implement RPAs that enhance operational efficiency.
- Financial Planning: Solid knowledge of financial planning principles, budgeting processes, and forecasting techniques. Ability to analyze financial statements and projections to support strategic decision-making.
- Financial Forecasting: Experience in developing and validating financial forecasts, understanding key drivers, assumptions, and risks. Skilled in interpreting forecast data to provide actionable insights.
- Microsoft Excel: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data visualization, and financial modeling. Excel is a critical tool for data analysis, scenario planning, and reporting in this role.
- Financial Analysis: Strong analytical skills to dissect financial data, identify trends, variances, and anomalies. Ability to translate data into meaningful business insights that support process improvements and automation.
