Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to lead and manage complex technical programs within a scaled environment. Responsibilities
- Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical programs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines.
- Applying Agile methodologies to foster iterative development, continuous improvement, and adaptive planning across teams.
- Utilizing JIRA extensively to track project progress, manage backlogs, and report on key performance indicators to stakeholders.
- Collaborating closely with engineering, product, operations, and business teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on program goals.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks proactively to minimize impact on program delivery.
- Managing stakeholder relationships by setting clear expectations, providing regular updates, and facilitating decision-making processes.
- Driving cross-functional team coordination, resolving dependencies, and removing blockers to maintain momentum.
- Leading program retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery processes and team performance.
- Ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices in program management.
- Mentoring and guiding junior program managers and team members to build a high-performing program management function.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- Proven experience managing large-scale, complex technical programs in a scaled environment, coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions on time and within scope.
- Expertise in program management principles, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting, and performance tracking to ensure successful program outcomes.
- Deep understanding and practical application of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe to drive iterative development, foster collaboration, and adapt to changing requirements.
- Extensive experience using JIRA for project tracking, backlog management, sprint planning, and reporting. Ability to configure workflows and dashboards to optimize program visibility and control.
- Strong skills in managing diverse stakeholder groups, balancing competing priorities, facilitating communication, and ensuring alignment between technical teams and business units.
- Proficiency in identifying potential risks early, analyzing their impact, developing mitigation strategies, and monitoring risk throughout the program lifecycle to minimize disruptions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to effectively translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and foster collaboration across teams.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification A current PMP certification demonstrating mastery of globally recognized project management standards and best practices.
