Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Data Scientist with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies and AI-driven solutions. This role is pivotal in driving the company’s data science initiatives by designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI-powered models that address complex business challenges and enhance decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to leverage Microsoft Azure’s comprehensive data and AI ecosystem, delivering actionable insights and scalable solutions that align with strategic business goals.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy predictive and prescriptive models using Microsoft Azure Machine Learning and Azure Databricks to solve complex business problems.
- Analyze large-scale datasets using SQL and Azure Synapse Analytics to extract meaningful insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Build and maintain interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports in Power BI to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders across the organization.
- Integrate advanced AI capabilities such as natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision by leveraging Azure Cognitive Services to enhance product features and business processes.
- Optimize and automate data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and processing, improving model performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, including deep learning and reinforcement learning, and apply these techniques to improve existing models and develop innovative solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and results clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data science practices, tools, and methodologies within the organization.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in data science or a similar role, with a focus on Microsoft ecosystem tools (Azure, Power BI, SQL Server).
- Proficiency in Python or R, with experience in Microsoft-specific libraries and frameworks (e.g., Azure ML SDK).
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and AI tools within Azure ecosystem.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data manipulation in Azure Synapse Analytics or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to build and deploy AI models, with a track record of improving business outcomes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Certification in Microsoft Azure Data Scientist Associate or equivalent.
- Experience with DevOps practices for model deployment (e.g., Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with integrating AI with business intelligence tools for real-timeanalytics.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices within Azure environments.
