We are hiring a Senior Python Engineer to join a U.S.-based client on a long-term project focused on building real-world applications powered by AI and Large
Language Models (LLMs). This is a great opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a fast-moving environment, with strong ownership and direct communication with the client.
In this role, you will:
● Develop production-quality Python applications
● Design and maintain REST APIs, including validation and configuration using Pydantic
● Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into real-world software solutions
● Optimize LLM usage, including prompt engineering, model selection, and performance tuning
● Research and adopt new AI tools, frameworks, and best practices
● Work autonomously in an agile, dynamic environment
● Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Gemini CLI
Must-have skills
● 5+ years of experience developing applications with Python
● Proven experience working with production systems and strong debugging / troubleshooting skills
● Strong knowledge of LLMs and their application in real products (prompt engineering, optimization, evaluation)
● 4+ years of experience working with REST APIs
● Experience building APIs with Pydantic
● Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain or CrewAI
● Experience with AWS
● Fluent English (direct communication with the client)
● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
● Based in LATAM only
Nice to have
● Experience with FastAPI
● Experience with automation tools such as n8n, Make, or Zapier
● Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog
● Contributions to open-source AI projects
