Summary

Join this company’s QA team to validate AI-driven voice and conversational solutions through focused manual testing of voice applications and intelligent virtual assistants (IVAs). This role ensures high-quality, multilingual user experiences by testing speech recognition, conversational flows, and user interactions across mobile, web, and smart device platforms.

This position is an opportunity to work closely with product, development, and automation teams to improve conversational AI in both English and Spanish. You will contribute to test coverage, regression protection, and quality improvements while supporting automation initiatives through familiarity with automation frameworks.

Location: We are seeking candidates from LATAM who speak English and Spanish fluently.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute manual test cases for voice, NLU, and IVA features in English and Spanish.
  • Validate speech recognition accuracy, conversational flows, and voice-enabled user interactions.
  • Analyze transcripts, speech samples, and real-world scenarios to identify and document defects.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA automation engineers to clarify requirements and reproduce issues.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing across mobile, web, and smart devices.
  • Review automated test suite results and support automation engineers by running or troubleshooting scripts when needed.
  • Document defects with detailed evidence and maintain traceability of test coverage.
  • Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies and contribute to QA process improvements.
  • Communicate test results and status clearly in both English and Spanish.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing, including at least 1 year focused on voice applications, IVAs, or conversational AI products.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both spoken and written, capable of validating natural language and dialogue flows in both languages.
  • Hands-on experience testing speech/NLU technologies and multi-platform testing (mobile, web, smart devices).
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Appium; able to review results, run scripts, or assist automation teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and contributing to QA process improvement.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with audio transcription validation, speech analytics, or multi-lingual voice application testing.
  • Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with test management platforms like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
